Chinese domainer, Muxing, known as “the King of Pinyin” sold double pinyin domain banli.com( meaning chestnut in English) for near ￥1000,000 CNY (approximately $150K USD). The domain has been built into a live broadcasting social media.
Chinese domain veteran Zhuang Liangji (庄良基), known as Booksir, announced in his wechat group that said he has abandoned 70,000 .cc domain names which are valued $1.25 million USD with an average CNY 120 each ($18.00 US). He also said that he is going to quit domain market and he is regret of his inappropriate words and behaviors in leading too many people to invest on .cc domains.
