Domainer Nifeng Just Acquired 1470 4L.com Domains | Chinese Market Daily Report on 01-06-2017

Chinese domainer Nifeng acquired 1470 4L.com domains (without vowel) at yesterday afternoon. According to the current market price of 4L.com, the total amount was more than a eight-figure CNY price. He already owns about 2000 4L.com domains now. He said he invested 4L domains because of he thought it is worth long-terms investment.

Chinese pinyin domain name WeiTao.com was just changed hands yesterday, the price was not disclosed. Both seller and buyer are famous domainers in China, the seller is Leizhu, the buyer is Shanren. Leizhu acquired it from Mike Cai with ¥2.6m CNY in December 2015. Even though the transaction’s price was not disclosed between Leizhu and Shanren, but it should be a seven-figure CNY price.

Rf.cn was auctioned for ¥654,321 CNY (approximately $94,555 USD) at wanming.com.

Yangtao.com was auctioned for ¥570,000 CNY (approximately $82,369 USD) at jinpai.com. “Yangtao”means Carambola in Chinese.

83.net was auctioned for ¥570,000 CNY (approximately $82,369 USD) at wanming.com.

Xiaobao.com was auctioned for ¥440,000 CNY (approximately $63,583 USD)at jinpai.com.

Wxd.com was auctioned for ¥296,000 CNY (approximately $42,774USD).

Ztq.com was auctioned for ¥247,678 CNY (approximately $35,791 USD).

Lyp.com was auctioned for ¥246,000 CNY (approximately $35,549 USD).

Meigong.com was auctioned for ¥200,000 CNY (approximately $28,901 USD), but didn’t meet it’s reserve price.

2863.com was auctioned for ¥192,000 CNY (approximately $27,745 USD).

2861.com was auctioned for ¥191,000 CNY (approximately $27,601 USD).

3311.cc was auctioned for ¥77,500 CNY (approximately $11,199 USD).

Pai.vip was sold for ¥68,000 CNY (approximately $9,826 USD) to an end user.

OTHERS

According to Chaomi.cc’s data, on Jan 5th, the total sales volume was 9848, and the total sales turnover was ¥6,435,851 CNY (approximately $930,036USD).

    It’s also great to see dot-VIP sales already being made in the secondary market, like Pai.VIP.

    I’d appreciate it if you could shed any light on the significance of the word “Pai” is (i.e., is it a surname, etc.).

      “Pai” means “beat”,“clap” in Chinese. “PaiMai” means “auction” in Chinese, “Mai” means “buy” or “sell” in Chinese. Hope it helps. 🙂

      The domains of Nifeng only acquired no vowel domains, so I think these five domains were not included in his domains. I searched whois information of skqk.com, it’e not Nifeng’s information.
